Willow Verkerk won second place in the 2012 CBC Quebec Writing Competition for her story “Manufactured” which appeared on-line in Maisonneuve and was translated into Dutch for Kluger Hans. Other fiction writing has appeared in Urban Graffiti and FreeFall and will appear in Grain and Room. Willow is a doctoral candidate of philosophy at the University of Leuven, Belgium.
