Scott Dominic Carpenter teaches at Carleton College (MN) and with the Minnesota Prison Writing Workshop. His recent novel, Theory of Remainders, was named to Kirkus Reviews’ “Best Books of 2013,” and his collection of short stories, This Jealous Earth, has earned wide praise—with the (short) film version of the title story currently in production. His writing regularly appears in journals and anthologies.
