Sativa January

Sativa January holds an MFA in fiction from New York University, where she received a Veterans’ Writing Workshop fellowship. At NYU, Sativa taught undergraduate fiction and poetry, served as fiction editor for Washington Square Review , and led writing workshops for soldiers returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. Her fiction has appeared in Joyland, Our Stories , and is forthcoming in The Threepenny Review.
