S. Kirk Walsh is the author of the national bestseller The Elephant of Belfast (Counterpoint). Her essays and other work have been published in The New York Times Book Review, Electric Literature, Longreads, and elsewhere. Born in Detroit, Walsh lives in Austin, Texas, with her husband, and teaches in the Alma College low-residency MFA program.
