Living with Strangers won the Bobst Award for Emerging Writers and was published by NYU Press. His stories have been anthologized in
Prize Stories: The O. Henry Awards, the
Pushcart Prize series, and
The Best of Witness. His work has also been published or is forthcoming in
Glimmer Train,
Sewanee Review, New England Review, Epoch, Fiction, Witness, and
Confrontation. He was the recipient of a fellowship from the Chesterfield Writers’ Film Project. One of his screenplays was optioned by Amblin Entertainment/Warner Brothers. Recently he became the co-editor of
Outpost19, a digital literary press.
