R.D. Williams

R.D. Williams is a Guyanese-American writer born in Freeport, Grand Bahama and raised in South Florida. She lives in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and studies Creative Writing at the University of Alabama’s MFA program. She earned a B.A. is Psychology and Editing, Writing and Media from Florida State University and has previously worked as the fiction editor of *Kudzu Review*, coordinating nonprofit youth creative writing programs in Tuscaloosa and Tallahassee, and as a children’s autism therapist and a cultural immersion teacher. She often writes about the immigrant experience.
