Peg Alford Pursell

Peg Alford Pursell’s stories have appeared in The Los Angeles Review, Staccato Fiction, and Emprise Review, among other places. Her 90-word, one-sentence story "Fragmentation" is the titular story of the Burrow Press Anthology Fragmentation and Other Stories (2011).  Her 990-word story "Project," published in Annalemma Magazine, was nominated for a Pushcart Prize. She evidently has an affinity for stories with word counts that are multiples of nine. Peg is the founder and curator of the reading series Why There Are Words (whytherearewords.com), named SF Guardian’s Best of the Bay for Literary Event. Her work in progress is the novel told in stories Blow the House Down. More info at her website, www.pegalfordpursell.com, where you can sign up for her newsletter full of writerly goodness.
