Ottessa Moshfegh is a fiction writer living in California. Her short stories have appeared in Fence, Noon, Guernica, The Paris Review, and various smaller literary journals. This year she received the Plimpton Discovery Prize and a Wallace Stegner fellowship. Her first novel, McGlue, is due out from Fence Books next fall.
