Orli Van Mourik is a fiction writer and journalist who lives in Brooklyn with her husband and two daughters. Her work has been published in Brain, Child Magazine, The Brooklyn Rail, and Psychology Today. Van Mourik is the 2015 Pen Parentis Writing Fellow. She teaches fiction
for the Sackett Street Writers' Workshop and is the director of Sackett Online. She is working on her first novel.
