Monica Drake is the author of the novels Clown Girl (Hawthorne Books) and The Stud Book (Hogarth Press). Her essays and stories have appeared in the Paris Review Daily, The Rumpus, Northwest Review, Oregon Humanities and other publications in print and on-line. She currently is in charge of the BFA in Writing at the Pacific Northwest College of Art in Portland, Oregon.
