Matthew Lansburgh received an MFA from NYU where he was a Veterans Writing Fellow. His fiction has been published or is forthcoming in
Michigan Quarterly Review, The Florida Review,
Columbia Journal,
Guernica,
Hobart,
Slice,
and
Cosmonauts Avenue. Two of his stories have received Pushcart Prize nominations, and “The Lure” and “Gunpoint” won
The Florida Review’s 2015 fiction contest and
Columbia’s 2014 fiction contest, respectively. Last summer, he attended the Sewanee Writers’ Conference as a Tennessee
Williams Scholar in Fiction.
