Marie Myung-Ok Lee is a founder of the Asian American Writers Workshop. Her next novel is the result of two years following doctors around and is forthcoming with Simon & Schuster. Her work has appeared the Kenyon Review, TriQuarterly, Witness, Guernica, The Atlantic, The New York Times, The Nation, and The Paris Review. She is happy both Koreans and Mexicans regard roasted crickets as a delicacy. She teaches creative writing at Columbia and is originally from Hibbing, Minnesota.
