Maddie Crum is a writer and teacher. She's written for The Baffler, Literary Hub, Vulture, The Los Angeles Review of Books, The Washington Post, and HuffPost, where she was a culture reporter and an editor of the books section. She teaches writing at Brooklyn College, where she studied fiction and received the Himan Brown Creative Writing Award.
