Originally from Cleveland, Lia Elaine Silver lives in the hills of South Eastern Ohio and works in a library. Her stories have been published in The Journal, as the winner of their fiction contest judged by Claire Vaye Watkins, and in the Michigan Quarterly Review. She holds an MFA in Fiction from Washington University in St. Louis, where she was awarded a Writer in Residence Fellowship.
