Kevin Mandel is a writer living in Brooklyn, New York. He writes fiction, essays and plays. Earlier this year his essay "Loser on the Moon: On Leonard Cohen, Fandom and Posterity" was published in The Millions. Daddy I'm a Clown is Kevin's second short story to be published in Joyland. His first, "The History of Hanging Out," was subsequently featured in The Rumpus' This Week in Short Fiction.
