Kate Schatz is the author of RID OF ME: A STORY (part of Continuum Press's 33 1/3 series) and is a co-editor and founder of The Encyclopedia Project (www.encyclopediaproject.org). Her work has appeared in the Denver Quarterly, West Branch, LTTR, BlitheHouse Quarterly, and the San Francisco Chronicle. She lives with her family in Oakland and teaches Literary Arts at Oakland School for the Arts.
