Joseph Horton teaches in the English Department at the University of Michigan. He is a graduate of the Zell M.F.A. Writers’ Program. His recent fiction has appeared in Hobart, and his writing has previously appeared in the L.A. Weekly, Denver Westword, Gelf Magazine, the Edinburgh Evening News, and for the PBS NewsHour. He is also playwright-in-residence with Savio(u)r Theatre Company in London. His play, At the Broken Places, was nominated for six Off West End Awards including Best New Play. He is from Littleton, Colorado.
