Jeffrey Freiert

Jeffrey Freiert’s story, “The Mohawk’s Fear of Falling,” won the Eric Hoffer Prize for Prose and was published in Best New Writing 2008. His short fiction has also been published in StoryQuarterly and nominated for a Pushcart Prize. The opening of his novella, Home Break, was recently selected as a finalist in Glimmer Train’s Best Start 50 competition. He holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Emerson College and has taught writing and literature at St. John’s University, Adelphi University, Emerson, and privately.
