Ian Stansel is the author of the story collection Everybody’s Irish (FiveChapters 2013). His work has appeared in Ploughshares, Salon, Cincinnati Review, Ecotone, and elsewhere. He is a graduate of the Iowa Writers’ Workshop and holds a PhD in literature and creative writing from the University of Houston, where he served as editor of Gulf Coast. He currently serves as fiction editor for the online literary journalMemorious and lives in Ohio with his wife and daughter.
