Holley Rubinsky has published three books (Rapid Transits and Other Stories, Polestar, 1990; At First I Hope for Rescue, Knopf Canada, 1997; Picador, U.S. and Beyond This Point, McClelland & Stewart, 2006.) She has received a Journey Prize and a Gold Medal for Fiction from the National Magazine Awards. Rubinsky was the host of The Writers’ Show, Kootenay Coop Radio, CJLY, Nelson, British Columbia, talking with BC-based book writers about writing, rewriting, editors, agents, publishers, the road tour, and aftermath revelations. She is working on a collection of very short stories.
