E.M. Tran is a Vietnamese American fiction and creative nonfiction writer
from New Orleans, Louisiana. She has an MFA from the University of
Mississippi and is currently pursuing her PhD in Creative Writing at Ohio
University. Her writing can be found in Iron Horse Literary Review, Territory, and Prairie Schooner, where her essay was the winner of a Glenna Luschei Award and listed as a
