David Whitton is the author of the story collection The Reverse Cowgirl (Freehand Books, 2011). His short fiction has appeared in a variety of journals and anthologies, including Darwin's Bastards, Best Canadian Stories, Journey Prize Stories, and Taddle Creek. He's currently finishing work on an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Guelph. He lives in Toronto, where he once saw a hawk snatch up a shrieking rat.
