Daniel Lanza Rivers is a doctoral candidate in English and Cultural Studies at Claremont Graduate University, where his research explores the relationship between landscape, development, and desire in Californian literature and cultural history. His fiction has appeared in Apogee, Connu, and Lady Churchill's Rosebud Wristlet, and he is currently at work on a novel and a dissertation. He lives with his partner, Rowan, in Oakland, CA.
