Courtney Elizabeth Mauk's work has appeared in The Literary Review, Forge Journal, PANK, Word Riot, and the anthology Gravity Fiction. Two of her stories have been nominated for this year's Pushcart Prize. She has an MFA in Fiction from Columbia University and teaches writing at College of Staten Island.
