Christine Utz completed her MFA in fiction at Adelphi University. Over the past year she has traveled around the southeastern United States and rediscovered a love for the people, wildlife, and food. There’s simply nothing comparable to good southern fried catfish and okra. She has coauthored a book about the Occupy Wall Street movement entitled
Occupying Wall Street: The Inside Story of an Action that Changed America, and her fiction has appeared in the
Cellar Door Anthology,
BorderSenses, and
Curbside Quotidian. She happily teaches writing at Adelphi University and St. John’s University. Presently she resides in Brooklyn, New York, though her heart is in Jacksonville, FL.
