Christine Lai is a Vancouver-based writer of fiction and non-fiction. She
is a graduate of The Writer’s Studio at Simon Fraser University, and was a
member of the 2017 Writing Studio at the Banff Centre for the Arts. Lai
also holds a PhD in English Literature from University College London in
the UK. She is currently working on a novel, while collecting notes for a
non-fiction project on cities and urban culture. Her essay on catastrophe
and the meaning of home is forthcoming in Cosmonauts Avenue.
