Canisia Lubrin

Canisia Lubrin is a writer, editor and teacher. Her work has been published widely and is frequently anthologized, including translations into Spanish and Italian. Her work has received nominations for the Toronto Book Award, Journey Prize, Gerald Lampert, Pat Lowther, Raymond Souster, bpNichol and others. The Origin of the Lullaby is included in Code Noir, her in-progress collection of linked short stories. She is the author of the poetry collection Voodoo Hypothesis (Buckrider Books, 2017), named a CBC Best Bookand The Dyzgraphxst (McClelland & Stewart, 2020). She holds an MFA from University of Guelph.
