Brenna Gomez

Brenna Gomez is a Latina writer based in the Pacific Northwest. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in: Prairie Schooner, StoryQuarterly,Year's Best Weird Fiction Volume 5, The Dark Magazine, Complete Sentence, Excuse Me Mag, and Joyland. Brenna received her MFA from the University of New Mexico, where she was the Editor-in-Chief of Blue Mesa Review and the 2015 recipient of the Hispanic Writer Award for the UNM Summer Writers’ Conference in Santa Fe.  Brenna is the recipient of a Hedgebrook residency and is a 2017/2020 Tin House Workshop alumna. Her story "Eileen" was a 2021 Best of the Net nominee. She is currently working on a young adult novel and a short story collection.
