Becky Adnot-Haynes received her PhD in English from the University of Cincinnati. Her short story collection, The Year of Perfect Happiness, won the Katherine Anne Porter Prize and was published in 2014 by the University of North Texas Press. She lives with her husband and son in Cincinnati, where she works as a copy editor.
