Annie Dawid’s first novel,
York Ferry, won the 2016 International Rubery Award. Her second book,
Lily In The Desert: Stories, is still in print from the Carnegie-Mellon University Press Series in Short Fiction. Her last book,
And Darkness Was Under His Feet: Stories of a Family, won the Litchfield Review Award in Short Fiction. “Jonestown, Japantown” is part of a collection of stories about Jonestown still seeking a publisher. More of her writing about Jonestown can be found at
