Angie Sijun Lou is the daughter of Chinese immigrants. Her work has appeared in The American Poetry Review, Poetry Northwest, The Kenyon Review, Gulf Coast, Best Small Fictions, The Georgia Review, The Asian American Literary Review, Hyphen, The Margins, and others. She is a Kundiman Fellow, a Fiction Editor at FENCE, a Ph.D. Candidate in Literature and Creative Writing at the University of California, Santa Cruz, and an instructor at San Quentin State Prison.
