Amelia Kahaney is the author of two young adult novels, The Brokenhearted and The Invisible, both published by HarperTeen. Her short
stories have appeared in Best American Nonrequired Reading, One Story, Crazyhorse, and elsewhere. She teaches writing at The New
School and the Sackett Street Writers' Workshop, and she lives two blocks away from a children's dance studio in Brooklyn, New York.
