Amara Okolo is the author of Black Sparkle Romance, Son of Man, andDaughters of Salt. She is a Fellow from the International Writing Program, City of Asylum, and Oxbow. Her writing has been supported by the United States Artists, won the Adele V HoldenAward, and has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize. Her works have been published and are forthcoming in Chestnut Review, Forge Lit Magazine, A Long House, Catapult, and elsewhere.
