Allison Carter lives, writes, teaches and designs websites in Los Angeles, California. Her first book, A Fixed, Formal Arrangement, is available September 2008 from Les Figues Press. She also has a poetry chapbook, Shadows Are Weather, on the way from Horse Less Press. Her work has otherwise been published in Fence, 5-Trope, P-Queue and other journals. Allison teaches a workshop in hybrid forms at California Institute of the Arts and co-edits P S Books with Joe Potts.
