Lydia Perović

Lydia Perović grew up in Montenegro, went to university in Belgrade in the 1990s, obtained her MA in Political Science/Theory at Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia in 2001. She emigrated to Canada in 1999, and has been living in Toronto since 2005. Her fiction has also appeared in Matrix Magazine. Her essays and journalism have appeared in C Magazine, n + 1, Critical Sense, One Hour Empire, OpenDemocracy.org, the National Post, and Xtra! She is currently working on her first long fiction and learning that writing involves a lot of staring at the screen and massaging your forehead.
